Kristen Castaneda
Legal Assistant
Kristen Castaneda is originally from Los Angeles, California and moved to Alabama when she was 10 years old. She graduated from Muscle Shoals High School and then went to Northwest Shoals Community College for two years to get her associates degree. She then transferred to Athens State University where she received her Bachelors Degree specializing in Technical Education. She is fluent in English and Spanish due to her parents immigrating from Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico.
She dedicates each and every one of her accomplishments to her parents. Her favorite saying is “para mis padres que llegaron sin nada y me lo dieron todo” which means “to my parents who came with nothing and gave me everything.” Kristen's parents gave up everything to come to the United States so that she could have a better future and better opportunities; and a lot of our clients do the same. They leave their home countries seeking a better life. She is passionate about what she does because she I has seen the struggle first hand. She loves being able to give back to the Hispanic community in a place where it is much needed.
